How to use the PC Audit Tool?

Standardize PC and laptop checking, reduce repeated manual work, and generate consistent inspection reports for repair, resale, rental, or warranty records.

  • Click Download PC Audit Tool to download the ZIP file.
  • Right-click the ZIP file and choose Extract All.
  • Open the extracted folder.
  • Right-click the PowerShell script or run file.
  • Choose Run with PowerShell or double-click Run-PC-Audit.cmd.
  • Wait for the checking process to complete.
  • When finished, open the generated HTML report.

For normal users, the .cmd launcher is easier. For technician users, you can use PowerShell method.

Step 1:

Click the “Download PC Audit Tool” button on this page to download the .zip file.

Step 2:

Locate the downloaded .zip file.

Step 3:

Right-click the .zip file and choose Extract All.

Step 4:

While extracting the .zip file to your desired location, tick the “Show extracted files when complete”.

Step 5:

Double-click “Run-PC-Audit.cmd” to run the scripts.

Step 6:

Click “Run”.

Step 7:

After it has finished. Press any key to close this Window.

Step 8:

You will see your PC Audit Report on your pop-up web browser.
